When Polycell Group came to us with Sandpiper, a landmark 51-level oceanfront tower at one of Broadbeach’s most coveted addresses, the project had exceptional credentials. What it needed was a brand strategy and identity capable of matching them. In the Gold Coast’s most competitive residential market, a prime address and premium finishes had stopped being a differentiator. Every tower on the strip could claim the view. What none of them could claim was meaning. Sandpiper needed a brand that read as an heirloom at first glance: assured, unhurried, and unmistakably its own.

Our research across ten competing developments revealed a consistent pattern: most projects communicate what they have, but few articulate why they matter. Sandpiper had a story competitors couldn’t manufacture. It just needed to be found.

The insight

Sophisticated, internationally minded buyers had long been forced to compromise by accepting either a premium beachfront location or internationally benchmarked design, service, and lifestyle. No single address on the Gold Coast had delivered both. Until Sandpiper.

Sandpiper

The idea

Position Sandpiper as the natural home for cosmopolitan residents unwilling to compromise, a residence combining a privileged Broadbeach location with curated, enduring, internationally benchmarked luxury, built to be enjoyed for generations.

The creative

We rejected generic coastal luxury. Instead, a sandpiper in flight, rendered with engraving-quality naturalism became the brand's central emblem. Beauty etched in time. An identity drawing on Art Deco interior spirit: sculptural form, rich natural materials, opulence reframed for today. Timeless rather than trend-led. International in appeal. Less about where it is. More about what it represents.
