We’re a strategic design and branding agency. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• When you contact us: your name, email, phone number, company, and whatever you tell us in your message.
• When you subscribe to our newsletter: your name and email address.
• When you apply for a job with us: your CV, portfolio, contact details, work history, and references.
• When you visit our website: basic technical information such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages you looked at.

Why we collect it

To respond to enquiries, deliver work for our clients, send you insights you’ve asked for, consider you for a role, run and improve our website, and meet our legal obligations. Nothing else.

Who we share it with

Your information is never sold. It goes only to a short list of parties:

• Service providers who run our systems: email, website hosting, our newsletter platform, our project management system, and our cloud storage.
• Our clients or collaborators, where that’s part of the work you’re involved in.
• Anyone we’re legally required to tell.

Providers are only engaged where we are satisfied they handle information responsibly.

How we look after it

We keep your information in access-controlled systems and give staff access only where their job needs it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold. We delete or de-identify information once we no longer need it.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from our newsletter any time using the link in the email.
• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct it if it’s wrong or out of date.

If you’re not happy

Tell us first email hello@theola.com.au with the details and we’ll investigate and come back to you within 30 days.

We’ll update this page when our practices change. The date at the top tells you when we last did.
