In Oman’s southern Dhofar region, Muriya Tourism Development was preparing to launch the most exclusive new chapter of Hawana Salalah, a 1 million square metre oceanfront residential resort on the Arabian Sea. The joint venture between Orascom Development and OMRAN had a proven track record across three continents, but faced a singular challenge: Hawana Salalah remained comparatively unknown as a luxury international destination.
The brand needed to speak authentically to two distinct audiences with opposing seasonal motivations: GCC residents seeking a cooler, greener escape during the Khareef monsoon season, and Europeans chasing endless summer during the northern winter. Both groups shared one thing.
The insight
Our research revealed what this audience truly valued: not just waterfront luxury, but transformation. The ability to escape the formulaic rhythms of everyday life and return to a more authentic version of themselves.
The idea
We developed a system that gave each neighbourhood its own identity while reinforcing the master brand: Amazi Beach, Amazi Rise, Amazi Islands, and Amazi Cove, unified by shared typography, tone of voice, and the overarching promise.
The creative
'The source of all good things' captured both the literal and emotional promise. Water is the source of all life and Amazi became the source of everything its residents were seeking: peace, connection, adventure, rejuvenation, status, and belonging.
